The salesman (Jebediah) that came to my house for an estimate was very knowledgeable and friendly. I scheduled an appointment and paid a deposit for 2 of my gutter downspouts to be buried. The workers came on the day they were scheduled, but did a horrendous job. I told them that the work is unacceptable, however they said they did not have any more equipment or supplies to do a better job.

I sent photos to the salesman, who agreed that work was incredibly substandard, even responding to the photos with a text message that said 'yikes!' He promised to have the problem fixed.

I had to follow up with the salesman 4 times over the next month, and was repeatedly told that someone will be out to fix it asap. No one ever showed. Finally, I asked for a refund. Instead, I got a call from the manager, who promised to personally come and repair the problem himself. After mutually agreeing that he would come out today to fix it, he did not show up not call to reschedule.

My next step is to report Bix Basement Systems to the Better Business Bureau.
